Join us for our new pilot program: Jewish Family Service Corps: Education-Activism-Action for the WHOLE Family, beginning October 2024 through June 2025.
Jewish Family Service Corps is a Jewish service and education program for families with students in Elementary and Middle School. Rooted in the core values of Judaism, the whole family participates together to strengthen family ties while serving the constituents of JFS including refugee families and individuals, older adults in guardianship, and families in need.
The program will kick off with a Welcome Dinner on October 27th, 5pm-7pm, followed by three Sunday afternoons, December 15th, February 9th, and April 27th, 1:30pm-3:30pm. Dates for a Shabbat dinner and a Havdalah gathering will be added. The Service Corps will meet at JFS in Springfield, MA.
Join us for this opportunity to engage meaningfully together and form a cohort of families committed to social action. For more information and to register click here. Major funding for this program from the Family Education Initiative of the Harold Greenspoon Foundation.
