Please note that an initial consultation is required for all petitions and will be an added cost to the service(s) the client needs.

What services are on hold:Due to the recent termination of all grants awarded through the Citizenship and Integration Grant Program, our free Citizenship classes are on hold.
How you can help: We are seeking volunteers to help teach citizenship classes, act as classroom assistants, and attorneys to provide free legal assistance to our clients.

Volunteer Attorney (licensed by any state; immigration experience is a plus)
Volunteer Paralegal (immigration experience is a plus)
Volunteer Citizenship Teacher (past experience is a plus)
Volunteer Classroom Assistant
What happened: JFS Citizenship and Immigration Program provided a full range of education and representation services funded by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Project Citizenship since 2011.
For years, with bipartisan support, the Department of Homeland Security funded these free classes to help lawful permanent residents take steps toward U.S. citizenship.
Thanks to this support, JFSWM guided many hardworking individuals with families, jobs, and deep community roots through the citizenship process.
Recently, the federal government canceled funding for JFS and for all other non-profits who were recipients of the grant that funded citizenship services.
