We recently wrapped up a successful fire safety class with members from our Arabic, Swahili, Haitian Creole and Dari and Pashto speaking communities. In partnership with the Springfield Fire Department (SFD), clients in our New American Program learn all about the “dos” and “don’ts of fire safety, including how to prevent cooking and electrical fires, and how to respond in the event of a fire.
