Many of us are experiencing prolonged states of grief without a safe space to express difficult emotions in community. Please join us as we commemorate the one year anniversary of October 7th with Leah Slivko, LICSW. Leah is the past clinical supervisor for MILEV, the Crisis Counseling Center in Jerusalem during the Intifada, and she brings her sensitivity and skill as a trauma specialist with a background in crisis work in Israel to JFS for this very special evening of care and support.

Following the one-year anniversary of October 7th, Leah will hold a supportive space to address the grief that so many are feeling at this time. Joined by Rabbi James Greene, CEO of Jewish Family Service, they will create space that honors and recognizes the continuous pain of this tumultuous year and how to process the impact it has had on us all. The program is free and open to the public. Pre-Registration is required. Click here to register.
