On a beautiful September morning, JFSWM staff accompanied members of our Arabic-speaking and Sudanese Health groups to Easy Pickin’s Orchard in Enfield, CT. Clients enjoyed picking end-of-season produce like sweet and spicy peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, and apples. Bags and boxes quickly overflowed, and clients took home fresh fruits and vegetables for their families—all at no cost, thanks to the generous support of our partner, Rachel’s Table.
