United States Citizenship and Immigration Services resumed interviews in August, 2020. Since then, 39 JFS clients have made the trip to Lawrence, Massachusetts for their citizenship interviews, and everyone has passed! One officer, before placing a JFS client under oath, told her “I always like it when someone’s from JFS, because I know they’re prepared.”
Many New Americans voted for the first time–including some JFS staff!
