Refugee seniors will likely not attend farmer’s markets this year due to COVID-19, but together with Gardening the Community, JFS is subsidizing farm shares for 10 refugee seniors this summer. Our summer JFS intern, Michelle, will deliver shares directly to their doors. For seniors who are interested, we will also practice English related to their share with them each week. So far, farm share deliveries have been full of smiles!
