JOIN JFS for the workshop FUNERAL PLANNING For those who don’t plan to die
Springfield – Join us on Wednesday, November 14th 2018, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m, to discuss how to make your final wishes clear. We will meet at Jewish Family Services’ Community Room, 1160 Dickinson St., Springfield, MA (parking lot is on the Converse Street side). Come learn about your options and rights to choose meaningful, dignified, and affordable final arrangements. Hear about transformations underway in the funeral industry, green alternatives preferred by environmentalists, and home-based death care. Bring your questions!
Presenter Sandy Ward is a retired Science Librarian and is now President and active volunteer with the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Western Massachusetts, a nonprofit educational organization.
The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
