Join JFS for educational presentation on Medicare: What you need to know!

Springfield – Are you approaching your 65th Birthday? Are you over 65 and still working? Are you assisting someone else with Medicare? If you’ve answered yes to either of these questions, please join us for “Medicare: What you need to know!” on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 6:30 p.m. in Jewish Family Service’s Community Room, 1160 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA. Navigating the world of Medicare can be confusing; this educational presentation will make it simple.

Speaker Russ Swallow, Certified Senior Advisor® and Licensed Insurance Advisor  at The Medicare Advisors has been helping individuals and companies since 1970 with a focus on Medicare Insurance Planning. He will answer questions including:

• What does Part A, B, C and D cover?
• What is Medigap?
• What do I need to know if I’m currently on Medicare?
• Which plans have no copays, deductibles or gatekeepers?
• How do I avoid the penalty if I didn’t sign up for Parts B or D when I first became eligible?

This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Please pre-register. RSVP online www.jfswm.org or call 413.737.2601.

Co-sponsored by Life Lessons: The Williams & Margery Sadowsky Center for Adult Learning at the Springfield JCC.
