To learn more, join us at Legal and Financial Planning: What older adults and caregivers need to know! on Monday, February 6, 2017, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Jewish Family Service’s Community Room, 1160 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA. Free and open to the public
Todd C. Ratner, estate planning and elder law attorney at Bacon Wilson, PC. will cover topics including:
• ways you can protect your assets
• the importance of having a will
• durable power of attorney and who needs one
• health care proxy and when it’s used
• long-term care planning options
Every year, participants recall that this talk is extremely informative and engaging. It is specifically designed to help older adults and caregivers learn about resources and how to navigate some of these potentially challenging issues.
