Join JFS for World Refugee Day Event & Long-Term Care Insurance Presentation

Dear Friend,

We are pleased to invite you to celebrate World Refugee Day with us on June 20th with a free showing of "Salam Neighbor", a documentary about life in a Syrian refugee camp on Tuesday, June 20th at 5:30PM in Trinity United Methodist Church. As the first filmmakers allowed by the United Nations to register and set-up a tent inside a refugee camp, Chris & Zach uncover inspiring stories of individuals rallying, against all odds, to rebuild their lives and those of their neighbors.

"World Refugee Day is an important opportunity for all of us to learn about the experiences of people displaced by violence around the world. The more we know about the journeys and courage of our refugee neighbors, the more we realize that we all belong to each other and that each of us has the power to help heal the world and ourselves, person by person, right here in our own neighborhood. We hope you will join us for this community gathering!" said Deirdre Griffin, New American Program director.

The best time to think about long-term care is before you need it. Approximately 70% of people 65+ are likely to need some type of assisted or long-term care during their lifetime. That means there's a high likelihood that you or one of your loved ones may need care. To learn more, join JFS for Understanding Long-Term Care Insurance presentation on Thursday, June 22 at 1PM.
