“Honoring the sanctity and worthiness of all human beings.”
Dear JFS Community,
FAMILY is at the heart of Jewish Family Service’s work in the Jewish community and beyond. JFS works with individuals to help them improve their quality of life, strengthening family ties, which in turn strengthens our community.
At JFS outreach is not just a technique, it is our passion.
JFS is there when a woman in her early 50s is worried about her 86 year old mom. Her mom has a heart condition and is caring for her Dad with advanced Alzheimer’s disease.
JFS is there when a young man at a local college is struggling with his sexuality and doesn’t know how to talk to his parents and close friends.
JFS is there when a family goes through a divorce and the children are struggling to find their way.
JFS is there to help a refugee fleeing persecution start a new life in our community.
Every day, our dedicated professionals are engaged in individual and group counseling, leading educational programming, running Jewish programming, offering resources and referrals, and providing a safety net for those in crisis.
Everything we do comes from our mission of caring, healing and repairing the world.
JFS is here should you or a loved one face a health issue.
If there are certain issues or topics that you would like us to cover in future e-updates, please let me know. You can reach me directly by calling my cell phone, 413-210-2105, or email me at r.marmor@jfswm.org.
See below for a list of our upcoming JFS events. We hope to see you soon.
With best regards,
Bob
